Delete your account
You can delete your account and data at any time, in the app or by email.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your store settings first, or you may still be charged: Apple · Google Play.
Delete in the app
- Open Upstanding and sign in.
- Tap You, then Privacy.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete my account to confirm.
You'll be signed out right away, and we start deleting your data. Deletion is finished within 30 days.
Delete without the app
- Email support@getupstanding.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
- We'll send a confirmation to that address to make sure the request comes from you.
- Once you confirm, we delete your account and data within 30 days and email you when it's done.
Signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email? Write from any address and include your Apple relay address. You can see it on your iPhone under Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Upstanding. We'll send the confirmation there, and Apple forwards it to your inbox.
What we delete
- Your account and profile (name, email, age range, height, weight, goals, equipment, your answers including the safety questions)
- Body scan photos and measurements
- Form check clips (any not already deleted after 90 days)
- Meal photos, notes and logs
- Reports, scores, Fix Plans, self-check results and completed sessions
- Your check-in balance, including unused check-ins you bought. These can't be restored or refunded after deletion.
- Reminders and settings
We also tell our hosting provider (Supabase) to delete it. We don't store your content with our analysis provider (Google's Gemini API); Google may keep request data for a short time to detect abuse, as its terms allow, and then deletes it.
What we keep, and for how long

We may keep totals that can't identify you, such as the number of checks run per day.
Delete only some data
Want to keep your account but delete certain photos, clips or reports? Email support@getupstanding.com and tell us what to delete. You can also withdraw your data-processing consent in the app under You → Privacy → Data & processing consent.
