Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Upstanding → Cancel Subscription (or manage it on Apple).
On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Upstanding → Cancel (or manage it on Google Play).
You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel your subscription.
I got a new phone. Where's my subscription?
Sign in with the same account, open the You tab, and tap Restore purchases under Subscription & check-ins. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with.
A check failed. Did I lose my check-ins?
No. If a check can't finish, its check-ins go back to your balance automatically. If a report finished but looks broken, email us and tell us which one.
My Form Check said "Couldn't see enough."
Film from the side, with your whole body in frame, in good light. Prop your phone up so it stays still for the whole set.
How do I get a good body scan?
Wear fitted clothes, stand in good light in front of a plain wall, and get your whole body in the frame, head to feet. Stand the way you normally do. Don't fix your posture for the photo.
Your face is blurred on your phone by default. You can turn that off in the scan screen.
Why did my score drop?
Scores are honest, so they move. A drop usually means something is a bit more off than last time. Different light, clothes or camera angle can also change what we see, so use the same spot and setup for each scan. Your report always says what changed and what to do next.
How do I switch between pounds and kilograms?
Go to You → Units. Upstanding uses pounds, feet and inches by default.
Something hurts when I do an exercise.
Stop the exercise. Pain is a sign to check with a doctor or physical therapist before you continue. Upstanding gives general fitness coaching and can't assess pain or injuries.
Stop and call 911 if you have chest pain, trouble breathing, feel faint, or get a sudden severe headache.
Why does the app ask about my health?
Before your first check we ask a few safety questions: pregnancy, surgery in the last 6 months, weak bones (osteoporosis), a heart condition or high blood pressure, a fall in the last year, and dizziness or fainting. If any apply, check with your doctor before you start. We leave harder and balance-heavy moves out of your plan.
Something changed? Update your answers in You → Profile → Health & safety. Your plan follows them.
Where did my Form Check video go?
Form-check clips are deleted automatically 90 days after you upload them. Your report, cues and score stay.
Can I buy a subscription on the website?
No. Subscriptions and check-in packs are sold only in the app, through the App Store or Google Play. To manage or cancel, use your store settings: here's how.
Who sees my photos?
You do. We send them to our analysis partner, Google Gemini API, only to create your report, and we never use them for ads. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
